The Power of InterBase and Firebird is People. Active community of developers, who worked with InterBase, saved the product in 2000. Although InterBase development was almost stopped, these people were not untrue to themselves. In the result Borland came back to InterBase development. Community also created the independent project Firebird based on InterBase code. This project is successfully developing and getting more and more faithful followers.
